From the smallest to the largest, we can fill your solderless terminal needs. Waytek offers only high quality terminals. Most terminals are manufactured from electrolytic copper and tin plated for corrosion resistance. Some of the push-on type terminals have brass construction to provide additional spring tension required for extra holding power. High temperature terminals are steel, with nickel plating. All insulated terminals, both vinyl and nylon, are color coded according to wire gauge. Most of the terminals meet UL requirements and some are CSA Approved. Most vinyl insulated terminals feature funnel entry for easy wire insertion. Nylon Insulated with extra sleeve Nylon insulated terminals start as a standard butted seam terminal with a brass sleeve over the barrel and the nylon insulation is molded over this brass barrel. These terminals should be crimped twice, once on the copper conductor in the wire and once on the insulation part of the wire. This second crimp helps provide a stronger connection and is recommended when the terminal is subject to vibration. Circuit Protection Butted Seam Serrated terminal barrel for extra wire grip. Chamfered for easy wire insertion. Butted Seam Cable Ties Clamps & Clips Brazed Seam This terminal is similar to the butted seam terminal, except the seam in the barrel has been brazed. The brazing allows the terminal to be crimped in any position around the barrel, which helps give extra wire holding strength.
