The vinyl and nylon insulated types are all funnel entry to speed wire insertion and are color coded by wire gauge, with the 22-18 size red, the 16-14 size blue and the 12-10 size yellow. Terminals & Connectors Several styles of spade terminals are available to choose from, including the standard spade, the block spade, the flanged block spade and the snap spade. The block spade and flanged block spade are popular for use with terminal blocks as they are the narrowest styles and fit most terminal blocks. The snap spade will snap and hold in place for a more secure connection.
