The proprietary NiAc insulation material shrinks up to 40% faster and at lower heat than competitive products. Perma-Seal™ Step Down Butt Connector This heat sealable step down butt connector is used for extra protection from the elements. They are used when two different sized wires are to be connected or when one wire is to be joined at one end and two wires at the other end of the butt connector. The step down (smaller) end is color coded for quick installation.
