Waytek Catalog - (Page 42) Terminals & Connectors Wire & Cable SEALED SPLICE PACK SYSTEM Sealed splice pack system by Unlimited Services is used for a variety of applications. With minifuses it becomes an in-line fuse holder for one to three circuits. The common buss bar converts the unit into a convenient splicing system. Or, use the fuses and buss bars in combination. The complete assembly with sealed terminals and cap offers a completely weathertight assembly. Designed for use in typical automotive applications including behind the dash and under the hood, most marine, truck, off road vehicles, etc. A complete assembly requires cable seals and terminals, connector body, cap and any common bars. Unused pin locations need a cavity plug, and the TPA helps keep the terminals from pulling out. For a perfect crimp, the ratchet tools should be used. Mounting clips are offered which snap onto the cover and attach the assembly to your application. The VES-PAC™ extended caps are a variation of the popular Splice Pack Cap. Minifuses and the buss bar system can also be used with these caps. In addition, the VES-PAC™ caps are designed to accommodate diodes, blade mount circuit breakers, and have special grooves so cable ties can be added to provide additional locking security. The connector parts are part of the Packard Metri-Pack sealed connector 280 series, on page 36.
