While most of the buildings date to the turn of the century, the street now lies at Austin’s epicenter of live music and after-dark excitement. There are nearly 50 clubs and live music venues along East Sixth Street, including Blind Pig Pub, BD Riley’s, Iron Cactus and Maggie Mae’s. Chances are you’ll find a reason to party in just about every establishment, whether it’s a bar, a restaurant or a pool hall.
