Benin—Kings and Rituals: Court Arts from Nigeria July 10–Sept. 21 Art Institute of Chicago www.artic.edu The royal bronze and ivory sculptures from the Benin Kingdom in south-central Nigeria are among the most spectacular and sophisticated icons of African art.
