Big Bird, Elmo and their Chinese friend Hu Hu Zhu take viewers on a journey of discovery to learn about the Big Dipper, the North Star, the Sun and the Moon. Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu imagine themselves on the Moon and explore the Moon’s lack of plants, animals, air and gravity. They also look to the sky from the Moon and see planet Earth among the stars. With Big Bird’s help, they eventually return to Sesame Street and celebrate the fact Elmo sees the same stars on Sesame Street that Hu Hu Zhu sees in China. The show is designed for children ages 4-6 and was created in partnership with Sesame Workshop, the Beijing Planetarium, Adler Planetarium and Liberty Science Center.
