More than just a shopping center, Hollywood & Highland is a complete entertainment experience. Outdoor concerts bring a sense of community in the summer, while tourists on Hollywood Boulevard make for spectacular people watching. The center is also home to the world-famous Kodak Theatre (site of the Academy Awards® and offering regular tours). The central plaza’s Babylonianthemed architecture was built in homage to set pieces from the classic D.W. Griffith film, Intolerance. This is also one of the only malls in LA with its own subway station. You can get to Hollywood & Highland on the Metro Red Line from Downtown or the Valley.
