Bus Schedules and Information Visit www.kingcounty.gov/metro, which provides bus schedules and regional trip planning. Or call 206-553-3000 (800-542-7876) 24 hours a day. If utilizing Metro buses outside of this zone, all-day bus passes are available at the Seattle Visitor Center, Metro Customer Service offices (located underground at West Lake Center), on Metro online, by mail order or by phone. • Weekend passes are available only on the bus. Ride-Free Area and Fares Riding the bus in downtown Seattle (see Downtown Seattle map on page 33a for boundaries) is always free 6am–7pm. The Transit Tunnel from Convention Place to the International District is open 6am–7pm Mon–Fri and is free. VISITOR PASS Adult/Youth: Unlimited travel for one day only. $5.50 *FARES SUBJECT TO CHANGE. SOUND TRANSIT Regional service is available through Sound Transit’s programs: ST Express Bus, Sounder Commuter Rail and Tacoma Link. Additionally, new Link light rail trains will begin carrying passengers from the downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 2009. Visit www.soundtransit.org for fares, schedules, tips and updates. • Exact fare is required at all times. • Metro has a two-zone fare system. The Seattle city limits are the zone border. • Peak hours are 6–9am and 3–6pm Mon–Fri.
