Along the way, several great photo opportunities await, including the First Nations totem poles, the Brockton Point Lighthouse, The Diver statue just off the seawall, Prospect Point and the giant inukshuk — an Inuit directional marker made of stacked rocks. All of these are well-known photo ops for visitors looking for an iconic Vancouver shot. Continue to follow Stanley Park Drive until it becomes Beach Avenue near English Bay Park. If you are just passing through the city or plan to stay for two weeks, get a quick introduction to Vancouver that’s doable in just a couple of hours. You’ll need a car to complete this itinerary, and it will be worth every minute. Stay on Beach Avenue until it becomes Pacific Street. At the intersection with Burrard, take a right and head over the Burrard Street Bridge. You’re headed to Granville Island, one of Vancouver’s most colorful and vibrant neighbourhoods. You N can take a quick tour of the area by veering left after crossing Burrard Street Bridge and then turning left on West Second Avenue. As you near the underside of the Granville Street Bridge, take a left and follow the signs toward Granville Island. As you enter, look for Cartwright Street, where you’ll turn right and then loop around the island.
