Power Supplies Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. has released the 400 W FCM chassis mount DC/DC converter series. The FCM series features an ultra wide 4:1 input range of 18 to 75 VDC with output voltages of 5, 12, 24, 28 and 48 VDC. All models are isolated input to output and housed in a rugged, encapsulated enclosure with recessed barrier strips. The operating temperature range of the FCM is -40°C to 100°C. Through holes are provided for backplane mounting or the attachment of a heatsink for extended temperature operation. The FCM is well suited for a variety of industrial and COTS military applications requiring screw terminal connectivity. The FCM series is backed by Calex’s five year warranty and offers a variety of protection features to insure long term performance and reliability. All models feature undervoltage lockout, pulse by pulse current limiting, over-temperature protection, output overvoltage protection, input reverse voltage protection and over-current protection. The output voltage accuracy for all 400 Watt Chassis Mount DC/DC Converter output voltage options is +/- 1 percent. Line and load regulation is 0.05 percent and 0.02 percent typical. All models exhibit 0 percent turn-on overshoot. Efficiencies are up to 93 percent. Remote trim, sense and remote on/off is available on all models. The trim range is -25 percent to 10 percent. All models are available with RoHS or non-RoHS construction. Low Cost and Compact 60 Watt Desktop Power from Power Partners The PSAD60 series of AC/DC desktop switching power supplies from Power Partners provide up to 60 watts of continuous output power. They are enclosed in a compact case with either C14 or C8 input receptacles. All models meet EN55022 and FCC Class B emissions limits, and are approved to UL, CSA and European safety standards.
