EcoCortec Launches European VpCI Plastics Recycling Project EcoCortec is implementing a European wide initiative to collect and recycle used VpCI films and bags. This is the first recycling program of this type implemented in Europe. Within the "Plastic Recycling Project" EcoCortec's customers will send their waste material back to Croatian plant which will then be completely recycled and used for manufacturing a new product. The plant has recently created plastic recycling center which will serve as plastics recycling complex for EcoCortec's growing customers. This new recycling program will lead to huge economic and environmental benefits for the plant, its clients and the environment. For the last 11 years EcoCortec has been utilizing exclusively innovative green technologies that provide its customers with economically beneficial solutions and are environmentally safe. With xnew recycling program EcoCortec's team is taking this commitment to an even higher level hoping that this initiative will lead as an example for other manufacturers to opt for sustainable technologies. With state-of-the-art reprocessing equipment EcoCortec from now on will be reprocessing in house incorporating "repro" back into the virgin film at up to 20 percent so the quality of the new product is ensured. Plastics pollution is one of the leading problems in the world today and our goal is to decrease the amount of waste that is being thrown in the garbage or ends up discarded in environment in order to prevent large amounts of plastics ending up in the landfills. Instead of paying large amounts of money for disposal, EcoCortec's customers will now send used films and bags back to Croatian plant where they will be fully recycled. EcoCortec will settle shipping costs which gives customer credit in exchange for the benefit of having an additional source of repro. Responsible approach towards the environment and reduction of toxic emissions such as high concentrations of CO2 are added benefits for everyone included in the project.
