VISIONS’ homes reflect tranquil, safe and supportive familial environments on over 25 acres of grounds, each surrounded by lawns, gardens, mountains, streams and wildlife. Our facilities are all equipped with the comforts of a home including spacious living rooms, kitchens and dining areas where residents and staff share meals together on a daily basis. Other elements of VISIONS’ healing environment include: Comfortable, semi-private rooms, each with their own bathroom facilities • Seclusion in the hills of Malibu reducing common distractions for struggling teens • Accessibility to allow ease of family visitation and travel to the ocean • 4 a healing environment in group therapy sessions, therapeutic workshops, and activities each day. VISIONS’ intensive program is structured to teach residents: Positive choices and recognition of destructive patterns • Ownership and responsibility for their actions • Application of 12-Step recovery principles • Goal-setting • Healthy self-esteem & self-awareness • Clients meet one-on-one and daily with either their assigned therapist or chemical dependency counselor, who both work together as a team throughout the treatment process.
