Through group activities and involvement, community leaders promote positive peer influence and begin to help new residents learn the power of experience, strength and hope. Recovery workshops, group therapy topics and activities may include: Gender Specific Groups • Anger Management • Relapse Prevention • Recovery Education • Denial Education • Impulse Control • Healthy Coping Skills • Disease Concepts • 6 positive peer community Action Awareness • Identifying Triggers • Psycho Drama • Family Dynamic Issues • Conflict Resolution • Art Therapy • Journaling • Equine Therapy • In addition, clients participate in supervised outings including 12-step meetings, social and recoveryrelated activities in an effort to teach teens how to have fun and live in sobriety.
