At VISIONS, exercise and nutrition, and positive body image and esteem play an essential role on the road to recovery. Upon enrollment, clients are given a complete physical examination and assessment for disordered eating. The following are included in VISIONS commitment to self-care: Physical Education • Hiking • Yoga • Swimming • Eating Disorder Therapist • Nutrition Therapist • Expert Chef who emphasizes wholesome, healthy and natural fare • Random drug testing administered a minimum of once-a-week • organically guides them towards their dreams and aspirations. Through daily morning meditation and other practices of inward reflection, such as Yoga and Equine Therapy, adolescents learn to connect with their emotions and develop strong interpersonal relationships. Group workshops on spiritual principles allow clients to embrace the importance of spirituality in everyday life. At VISIONS, clients are encouraged and taught to connect with their own spirituality and innate intuition which 7 spiritual development
