PeaCeDoMeContinued Peace Day Activities at The Peace Dome Windyville, Missouri, USA September 21, 2008 Doors open at 9 am with an educational tour of the grounds. Visitors will view a 20-minute documentary on how the Peace Dome was created and why it was dedicated in 2003 as a universal site for peace. They will visit the Healing Wall, learning how they can contribute their stories. At 10:30, everyone will gather in the upper chamber of the Peace Dome to meet eight Nobel Peace Prize laureates in “The Invitation”, a play in four movements. This play unites Albert Schweitzer, Linus Pauling, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa, Betty Williams, Alva Myrdal, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Shirdin Abadi. At one o’clock CDT, as is the daily custom at the Peace Dome, all attending will recite the Universal Peace Covenant. We call upon everyone, wherever they are, to join us in this endeavor.
