Winston-Salem Business Magazine - October 2007 - (Page 42) Windsor Jewelers Grand Opening Windsor Jewelers Puts the “Grand” in Grand Opening Windsor Jewelers held its ribbon cutting for the opening of its newly expanded store, on Thursday the 26th of September. Windsor Jewelers had a Lunar Rover, space suits and two astronauts - Scott Carpenter and Charlie Duke attending the festivities. Omega watch is the watch that NASA has used for all the space flights and Windsor had a collection of those watches that went into space. The astronauts went on to speak at Summit and Forsyth Country Day schools and at a forum at WSSU Williams auditorium. The rover exhibit has been in 6 cities around the US, LA, San Diego, Seattle, Winston-Salem, Washington, DC and NY.
