Since Betty Ashby and John Edwards opened Big Shotz Tavern in September 2006, the restaurant has won three 2007 Readers Choice Awards: Best Sunday Brunch, Best Spot after Five and Friendliest Wait Staff. You can also find Jason Skipper, voted Best Bartender by Go Triad, tending bar at the Stratford location. The Buffalo Chicken soup, a starter that put the restaurant “on the map”, came from co-owner John Edwards personal recipe collection.
