Cenegenics Physician Training 2008 - (Page 12) PART 2 Physician Training in Age Management Medicine 16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ This part of the training demonstrates your competency in AMM. There are 50 questions, covering basic science/clinical science and 0 reallife case studies, all multiple-choice. To answer these case study questions, you must consider the complete patient history and be able to interpret the laboratory results accompanying each case, based on the standardized dosing algorithm given during the formal training modules. Eligibility for Part 2 hinges on satisfactory completion of Part 1 and being licensed in good standing in the state you are practicing. After finishing Part 1 at the training site, a battery of basic science/clinical science questions and case studies are completed as a home study online. A Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation certificate is awarded when Parts 1 and 2 are successfully completed. The certificate states the certificate holder has met certain standards and has passed an examination conducted by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF) and the Foundation for Care Management (FCM), demonstrating to the satisfaction of CERF that the certificate holder has the training and qualifications needed to practice age management medicine. “Thorough and insightful, specific to my needs.” “Concise and comprehensive.” “Gave me the confidence to get started!” • • • • Introduction to Age Management Medicine (5 cases) Hormonal Evaluation of the Aging Male (5 cases) Hormonal Evaluation of the Aging Female (5 cases) Human Growth Hormone Evaluation for Adult Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency (5 cases) Certificate of Completion Each case study must be reviewed and questions answered, focused on specific sub-topics including . . . • Basic Science/Clinical Science (50 questions) Grading is completed within five working days of your submitted, completed online exam. Three out of four questions in each case study must be answered correctly and a passing 0% earned for each sub-topic to receive credit for the module (16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™). CERF must receive the answers to the basic science/clinical science questions and case studies (along with the evaluation) within 90 days from the date you receive notification to access the exam. If a passing score isn’t earned, the entire module must be retaken; the module can be retaken a maximum of two times.
