An island rich in history, Sipan played host to the Dubrovnik aristocracy in the 15th century who built their summer residences here and boasts architectural monuments that date back to pre-Romanesque times. The island has two main villages; Sudurad, population 250 ˇ and Sipanska Luka with 300 inhabitants where we have chosen to host this unique excursion for our clients. Collecting guests from the port of Gruz Kolocep ˇ, ˇ & Lopud islands, Hidden Croatia Marine will ˇ cruise through the Elafiti to the far side of Sipan island where you will be welcomed by the staff of ˇ Hotel Sipan, a converted olive oil factory which lies at the head of a sheltered bay. Here you will be given an introduction to and taste coastal Croatian wines from Istria through middle and southern Dalmatia chosen by the internationally acclaimed sommelier, Davor Krmpotic following ´ which you will sit down for a three course meal overlooking the beautiful bay and it’s peaceful surroundings. After lunch, take a stroll around the bay before setting off for a leisurely cruise home. See attached price list for details.
