brochure - (Page 6) Dubrovnik and Cavtat Lunch in Cavtat followed by a guided tour of Dubrovnik No trip to the region is complete without a visit to Croatia’s most famous city - Dubrovnik. However, why not do it in style with Hidden Croatia Marine by combining your visit with a 3 course lunch in the beautiful bay of Cavtat before cruising to the old town for a guided tour and the chance to soak up the atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Guests will be picked up from the Elafiti for a leisurely cruise along the beautiful coastline past Dubrovnik and the Island of Lokrum to Cavtat - a peaceful, picturesque town set in its own bay with views across the Adriatic. The restaurant ‘Leut’ will be your venue for lunch - a well known familyrun restaurant that has played host to 5 Presidents in it’s time and provides the ideal location to relax in the shade and take in the local atmosphere. After lunch, re-board ’Orietta’ and cruise back along the coast to Dubrovnik’s old port where you will disembark for a 1 hour guided tour of the city. Dubrovnik is Croatia’s most recognised city and for good reason. A uniquely beautiful place, Dubrovnik transports visitors back in time with its stunning architecture and marble streets that relate the story of its colourful past. Founded in the 7th Century, the City, (then the Republic of Ragusa), provided sanctuary to it’s inhabitants from Barbarian invasion. By the 15th century it had developed into an influential trading partner with other Mediterranean cities. In 1667, the city was all but devastated by an earthquake and reconstructed in the Baroque style for which it is famous today. All this and more awaits discovery. After your guided tour and the chance to walk around you board for a final time to make your way home to the Elafiti. See attached price list for details.
