Xplor UK & Ireland realizes this and has partnered with well-known research firm InfoTrends to provide members with access to their robust library of reports at discounted prices. InfoTrends offers a variety of reports on the latest trends and issues in production printing and digital imaging, written by expert industry analysts. These reports deliver powerful insight into the forces that are shaping the market, providing professionals with the information they need to develop viable business strategies. In addition to their strategic reports, InfoTrends is also making available their e-learning curriculum aimed at helping organizations develop sales staff. As we know, training is important and online training programs are an attractive alternative in difficult economic times. InfoTrends’ e-learning program will provide your sales and marketing staff with the tools they need to achieve the highest success possible, thereby improving your bottom line. This web-based training portal offers a self-paced curriculum with guided audio and engaging interactive exercises that are accessible 24 hours a day. Because this online training program can be accessed anywhere and at any time, it presents a unique opportunity to offer consistent training to your remote employees, as well as a convenient option for onsite staff members. We are very excited about this new venture with InfoTrends. Their offerings are extremely relevant to our members, and you will stand to gain significant benefits from InfoTrends’ reports and courses. Access to InfoTrends’ reports and e-learning program will be made available on the Xplor UK & Ireland website at the end of the first quarter. InfoTrends Launches European TransPromo Study; Xplor UK & Ireland Named as Research Partner InfoTrends is pleased to announce the launch of a groundbreaking new study on the European direct mail and transpromotional market opportunity entitled Trans Meets Promo: A European Perspective. This study will investigate consumer behaviour and preferences, provide a perspective from the view of the marketing executive, discuss print provider expectations, and review the plans of those who generate both direct mail and transaction documents. The study findings will be based on a combination of desk and primary research. The primary research will include web-based surveys directed at transaction document owners, marketers, and agency executives, as well as in-depth interviews with print/mail service providers in key Western European countries. Xplor UK & Ireland has been named as a research partner for the project. In the coming months, members will receive a request from Xplor to participate in the research gathering efforts for this landmark study. We encourage all of our members to participate in this survey. The results of the study will be announced at the inaugural European TransPromo Summit in October 2009.
