Physics Journals from Elsevier Ultramicroscopy Scientists engaged in ultrastructure research seem to fall into two overlapping categories. One group uses existing tools and methods to advance knowledge in particular disciplines. The second group is committed to advancing the tools and methods themselves. For the benefit of both groups, this work finds its outlet in Ultramicroscopy. Editor-in-Chief: P. A. Midgley, University of Cambridge, UK 12 issues per year, ISSN: 03043991 Vacuum The international journal Vacuum publishes high quality papers on latest advances in the many areas which now require the production and control of a working environment at pressure below one atmosphere. The topics covered by the journal are thus truly interdisciplinary and papers cover the interests of many groups, ranging from fundamental vacuum science to industrial systems and processes.
