Cantemo Portal 2.0 Simplifies MAM

t BVE, Cantemo will demonstrate
the new major release of its core
Media Asset Management software,
Cantemo Portal and Cantemo Apps.
Cantemo Portal 2.0 was officially
launched at the end of 2014 and was
unveiled at a User Group Meeting held
at the ITV building London at the end
of November 2014.
Cantemo Portal gives its customers
a simple overview of all
assets, with easy search
and indexing capabilities.
This
new
version,
Cantemo
Portal
2.0
has been launched to
better address the huge
variety of needs of the
modern media producer.
It includes a number
of
enhanced
media
management capabilities,
as well as making it even
easier to integrate with
third party software,
enabling users to add
additional modules and
build the perfect system.
"We originally launched

Cantemo Portal, because we saw a
need to change and modernise MAM
systems to cope with a drastically
changing
media
environment,"
commented Cantemo CEO Parham
Azimi.
"By further extending the integration
layer in this release, we are able to
future-proof for users who can add
functionalities and integration points

as required."
Cantemo Portal 2.0 also enables
better
sharing
and
reviewing
capabilities, something, which is
becoming increasingly important,
especially where production teams are
working from different locations.
Additional features within the Adobe
Premiere Pro and Apple Final Cut Pro
integration, enable more efficient

project management and media source
tracking.

at BVE.

ince launching on September
1st 2014, over 200 rental
businesses in the Broadcast and Events
sector have signed up to Current RMS,
quickly identifying the benefits of

On the 26th of January 2015, Current

Xero, offering seamless integration

Prior to launching Current RMS,
rental experts came on board to test
the system, working with the team to
ensure it was entirely ready for launch.
The Current RMS team created the
same process for the Xero integration.
One of the testers, Stewart Keasley,
Director at Black Flag TV, has quickly
seen the benefits of operating his
rental business entirely in the cloud.
