It has six reading groups, one of them reading gay and lesbian fiction. Oprah’s Book Club – online reading group information and books. Richard and Judy Book Club – online reading group information and books. The Reading Group Book by Jenny Hartley – a book written after a survey of 350 reading groups and has a lot of information about reading groups and books chosen by them. like I have not had anyone to discuss them with. About a year ago, I advertised on ‘Pink Sofa’ that I wanted to start a reading group for lesbians in Manchester. We meet once a month at a café in the centre of Manchester and have about ten members. Not everyone can attend every month, but we have a core number of regular members and a number of others who attend every few months. We are a single-title reading group, and choose the titles two months in advance to help slower readers. Through the reading group, I have made some new friends and read books that I would never have even picked up before. I haven’t liked all of the books and neither has everyone else, but this has led to some interesting discussions!
