A
t the start of each year – and before the previous year has faded into memory –
EDN’s editors make a selection of new products that emerged over the preceding
12 months; new introductions that particularly stood out, or impressed them.
Here, then, is the 2012 list of EDN’s Hot 100 products. Among these, there may
be some you noted at the time of their release; there may be some that escaped
your attention; there may even be some that you seized on immediately and are
