The RoHS-compliant LCD modules feature high brightness, high contrast ratio, and wide viewing angle, claims the company. The 8.4inch AA084VJ01 and 10.4inch AA104VJ02 LCD modules operate between -30 and +80°C and -20 and +70°C, respectively, making them suitable for use in rugged outdoor environments. They feature LED backlight and circuit board-embedded LED driver. The LCD modules using LVDS interfaces can be run with high speed at low noise figure, says the company. The outline dimension and mounting hole position are compatible with the company’s 8.4inch AA084VG01 and 10.4inch AA104VH02 for replacement. In addition, signal interface connector and pin assignments are compatible with all LVDS interface models from the company. The orange ASMT-FJ70 LEDs use AlInGaP material technology and feature a 12° viewing angle, while the green ASMT-FG70 LEDs use InGaN material technology and provide a 14° viewing angle. Both technologies have high luminous efficiency, producing high light output over a wide range of drive currents, according to the company. The narrow viewing angles deliver a long distance illumination and narrow beam pattern. Both the series of LEDs are available in an environment-friendly 3.6x3.2x3.4mm SMT package and they use a clear, non-diffused lens.
