Johnsonville Sausage adds chicken varieties Farley’s & Sathers updates Tree Top line ROUND LAKE, MINN. — Farley’s & Sathers has re-launched its line of Tree Top fruit snacks w a new with p packaging design for their Tree Top Original Fruit Snacks and a new fruit snack stock-keeping unit. The new Tree Top Fruit Dimensions Fruit Snacks come in pomegranate acai, blueberry blackberry, mango peach, orange cherry mango, tangerine pineapple, and kiwi strawberry. “Retailers want new products that improve velocity and margins in all key categories,” said Matthew Fenton, vice-president of marketing for Farley’s & Sathers. “So we had our innovation team develop a Tree Top offering to combine a fresh and distinct approach to flavors in our better-for-you format.” FBN SHEBOYGAN FALLS, WIS. — Johnsonville Sausage L.L.C. has introduced three varieties of chicken sausage: apple; three cheese Italian style; and chipotle Monterey jack cheese. “At Johnsonville, we’re always listening to find out exactly what our consumers want in their sausage products,” said Chris O’Toole, brand manager for Johnsonville. “We understood moms were looking for added variety and better-foryou choices in their sausage selection, and we’re pleased to be able to answer that desire for more variety with our new chicken sausage.” The new sausage varieties are fully cooked and have a suggested retail price of $4.49 for a 21-oz package. FBN General Mills adds brownies to Fiber One line MINNEAPOLIS — General Mills Inc. has extended its Fiber One line with the introduction of Fiber One 90 Calorie Brownies. Each brownie contains 5 grams of fiber and the new products are available in two varieties: chocolate fudge and chocolate peanut butter. “Fiber helps curb your hunger and helps you feel full,” said Kerry Delaney, associate marketing manager for General Mills. “That may help you stick to your weight loss plan.” Both varieties are sold in 5.34-oz boxes containing 6 individually wrapped brownies, at a suggested retail price of $3.89.
