We welcome this opportunity to build on our partnership to bring Yoplait to new consumers all around the world.” DBN Shadow Beverages acquires Whey-Up brand TEMPE, ARIZ. — Shadow Beverages and Snacks L.L.C., the producer of No Fear and GNC-Live Well branded beverages, has acquired the Whey-Up line of ready-to-drink beverages. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Founded by Erik Rothchild in 2006, the Whey-Up beverages feature 20 grams of whey protein in a non-carbonated, sugar-free energy drink. The company said it will re-introduce the Whey-Up line this month with a new look and packaging.
