The oatmeal will be available nationally at all Burger King locations during regular breakfast hours, from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. “BKC is committed to offering Burger King guests quality, greattasting food beginning with breakfast,” said Leo Leon, vice-president of global innovation at Burger King. “Our restaurant guests want a variety of items to choose from for every meal of the day and Quaker oatmeal is a welcome, tasty addition to our breakfast menu at BK.” Burger King becomes the latest fast-food restaurant to add oatmeal in an effort to drive customer traffic during the morning daypart. Earlier this year, Atlantabased Chick-fil-A, Inc. introduced multigrain oatmeal at a price point of $2.49, while last year, McDonald’s Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., added $1.99 oatmeal to its menu. Seattle-based Starbucks Corp. has offered oatmeal for $2.49 since 2008. FBN Lifestyle Foods launching G2 snack line YORK, PA. — Lifestyle Foods is launching the G2 line of snacks that all contain less than 170 calories. The line includes Glam Snack, Shred Snack and Obsessed Snack varieties. Glam Snack has almonds, apple slices and red grapes. The Shred Snack has grilled chicken breast strips and cheese cubes, and the Obsessed Snack has Greek yogurt with honey graham sticks. The packaging for the line is certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. The products have a suggested retail price of $1.99 to $2.29.
