Frito-Lay debuts Cheetos
snack mixes
PLANO, TEXAS — Frito-Lay,
a division of PepsiCo, Inc., is
launching Cheetos Mix-Ups
snack mixes.
The product combines four
varieties of Cheetos in one
bag. The Xtra Cheezy snack
mix contains crunchy cheddar,
Parmesan mini-puffs, double
cheddar puffs and nacho
cheese grid-shaped snacks.

The Cheezy Salsa snack mix
includes crunchy salsa picante,
cheddar puffs, jalapeño cheddar mini-puffs and chipotle
cheddar grid-shaped snacks.
“Cheetos fans enjoy a variety
of tastes — some want hot and
zesty while others crave cheesy
and crunchy,” said Ram Krishnan, vice-president of marketing for Frito-Lay North America.

“Now with Cheetos Mix-Ups
snack mix, there’s no shortage
of delicious cheesy flavors and
textures to choose from all in
one fun, shareable bag for the
whole family.”
The snack mixes are available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.49 for
an 8.75-oz bag and $1.49 for a

Franklin Foods adds Greek cream cheese
DELRAY BEACH, FLA. — Franklin Foods Inc. is introducing cream
cheese made with Greek yogurt.
With live and active cultures, Green Mountain Farms Greek
Cream Cheese contains more protein and less fat than regular
cream cheese, according to the company.
“We are seeing a huge rise in popularity for Greek foods, driven
by the popularity of the Mediterranean diet and a move toward a
balanced, simpler, and more pleasurable way of eating,” said Jon
Gutknecht, chief executive officer of Franklin Foods.
The product is available nationwide for a suggested retail price

frozen coffee mixes

SEATTLE — Seattle’s
Best Coffee, a Starbucks Corp.
brand, is partnering with
Inventure Foods, Inc. to roll
out a line of frozen coffee drink
mixes.
Made with 100% Arabica coffee beans, Seattle’s Best Coffee
Frozen Coffee Blends are available in coffee, caramel, vanilla
and mocha flavors. Each

serving contains 130 calories
when blended with skim milk.
“Finally, there is an easy way
for customers to make their
own blended coffee,” said Jennifer Dimaris, vice-president
of brand management for
Seattle’s Best Coffee. “The
demand for blended coffee is
