Position Summary
The Environmental Specialist for Milling will be based in Beech Grove, IN and will report to the
Milling Environmental Manager. This position requires technical knowledge and skills to partner with
Milling colleagues to ensure compliance with all environmental regulations (air, water, waste, etc.). The
Environmental Specialist will provide environmental assistance to support day-to-day operations at
multiple Milling locations, requiring the ability to successfully manage and complete multiple projects.
Frequent travel and strong communication skills are required to build relationships with facility colleagues.

Job Requirements
* B.S. or B.A. in environmental or science related program is preferred
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in areas related to environmental compliance, preferably in an
agricultural or manufacturing environment
* Must be willing to work flexible hours to travel frequently (up to 50%) to multiple facilities
* Strong commitment to work place safety
* Knowledge of federal and state environmental laws/regulations
* Knowledgeable of environmental management systems
* Excellent organizational skills
* Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings and present
information to senior management
* Strong sense of leadership with the ability to impact and influence others
* Competent in use of computer programs such as: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.
This position requires the ability to work in a variety of conditions such as an office environment,
indoors/outdoors, hot/cold weather as well as physical demands such as standing, kneeling, and sitting
for prolonged periods of time, climbing stairs/ladders and the ability to work in confined spaces in a
variety of environmental conditions
