Handtmann has rolled out its full, four-model HVF Deli Series
(HVF 658, HVF 660, HVF 664 and HVF 670) over the past two
years to meet the varying needs of high-volume processors.
"We feel the HVF 670, with the highest volume continuous filling
and portioning capability for all types of ham products without the
need for an additional auxiliary portioning unit, will be in the greatest
demand," Kittle says. "Given the major productivity advances that
come with this investment, we're already getting a lot of interest."
The expense of auxiliary portioning units is now eliminated
because Handtmann's HVF 670 delivers continuous filling with
accurate portioning for all types of whole-muscle products. Two
independently regulated vacuum systems optimize vacuum continuously during the feeding process.

Two servo drives control the independently regulated feeding
device and auger, preventing stress on the product and forming
an optimum supply source to the meat-pump system. Flexible
interplay between the feeding device and auger enables precise
and rapid adaptation to individual product requirements at any
time, Kittle points out.
The Handtmann HVF 670 vane cell feed system features large
feed volumes for whole muscles, gentle product handling, continuous filling and accurate portioning. Clippers and other auxiliary devices can be connected easily.
