facility without a certificate of analysis. The company also randomly tests
suppliers of raw materials. Chemical
and sanitation systems used in cleaning are all automated.
Employee flow is extraordinary.
All staff entering various areas of the
production plant -grinding, forming,
packaging, etc. - must pass through
a brightly lit hallway featuring GMP
stations. Quality assurance is at the
end of the hallway and monitors the
production.
"Visitors can look through hallway
windows to view production inside the
plant," Olivera says. "This results in
less plant traffic, which reduces potential for cross-contamination. If someone needs to go to the shipping and
