On May 13, the business held a grand opening ceremony for the Tacori Boutique, which was designed exclusively for the Wedding Ring Shop by Tacori’s founder, Haig Tacorian. The boutique, which features a vibrant, eye-catching blue wall, showcases Tacori’s designer engagement rings, wedding bands, and its popular line of fashion jewelry. “Designed with the iconic ‘Tacori Blue,’ complementing tones and contemporary materials, the Tacori Boutique offers clients a unique shopping experience in a warm and comfortable environment,” says The Wedding Ring Shop. Construction on the Tacori Boutique project commenced in November 2009. Army Begins New Schofield Facility The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, awarded a $37.9 million contract on Feb. 25 to Walsh RMA Joint Venture to build a new tactical equipment maintenance facility on Schofield Barracks. The notice to proceed was issued on March 28. In addition to building the 57,031-square-foot maintenance facility, the project also includes construction of a 52,120-square-yard organizational parking, a storage building, a hazardous material storage building, a deployment storage building plus site and utility support. With a 751 calendar day performance period, the project is expected to be completed in April 2013.
