Waikiki Beach Boys Photos by Ropati Na Wahine o Ke Kai Once again a group of women have shown that they have the right stuff to dominate the channel, timeand-time again. team Bradley made their move mid- channel and kept a mile lead on the Waikiki Beach Boys through to the finish in 6:12:23. the 'Beach Girls' fin- ished seven minutes later (6:19:46), and a masters-40 crew from Hui nalu placed third overall/first masters (6:32:23). Hui nalu's open crew 'Gold' was third open in 6:36:19. Rounding off the 'top ten': 5. Outrigger Red, 6. Waikiki Beach Boys-2, 7. Keahiakahoe, 8. Kai Opua40s (Big Island), 9. Lae'ula O Kai Red (maui), and 10. Wa'akapaemau (molokai). Right, this makes it the sixth win for Sonny Bradley's all-star crew. They set the record at 5 hours, 22 minutes and 5 seconds in 2008. This year's crew was made up of Dane Ward, Noelani Auger, Cherisse Agorastis, Andrea Moller, Kristin Foster, Alana Goo, Shelly Oates-Wilding, Lori Nakamura and Lauren Spalding.
