Q: What F&B trends are
emerging for 2017? What will
the next trend be?
"F&B trends are leaning toward getting the
most value while staying within budget. Culinary
experts are using locally grown produce with all
natural ingredients served in a creative manner.
Meeting professionals are hungry for the local
and unique [seasonal] flavor that can only be
found in the destination where the meeting is
taking place. Delegates want to return to the
office with bragging rights and lasting memories.
Tomorrow's trend will be to create honest,
wholesome, value-centric meals while maintaining
environmental sustainability."-David M. Jackson,
CMP, VP of Sales, Pocono Mountains Convention
and Visitors Bureau.
