Foxwoods has also partnered with the United Way of Southeastern
Connecticut on giveback programs such as "Heroes Wanted" and "The
Outreach Program to End Hunger," both of which are offered to visiting
meetings and conventions groups that want to "leave a measurable
impact on local individuals and families," O'Connell says.
Part of Foxwoods' 150,000 sf of meeting and convention
space includes the largest ballroom in the Northeast at around
47,530 sf. Its outdoor venues serve up striking settings for elegant
dinners on the lawn, pool parties and golf-themed events.
