Policymakers and national educationfocused organizations have embraced the idea that technology in the classroom is an absolute must to keep students in school, improve the graduation rate and prepare students for today’s and tomorrow’s careers.

TV & sound production instructor Marc Hunt knew there was a better way to reach his students. To do that, he flipped his classroom and added games to the curriculum to increase student motivation, participation and engagement.

Law & Justice CTE Program Offers a Hands-on Approach

Physical therapist assistant is January’s featured career, with Bishop State Community College in the school spotlight.

CTE teacher Tom Washburn, founder of the Law and Justice Program in Fulton County Schools in Atlanta, Georgia, realized that a program that prepared students for careers in law enforcement would be a viable CTE program, taking the excitement of learning about forensics and criminal law and using it to reinforce academics.
