MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Lebanon Transit, the transit authority serving Lebanon County in South Central Pennsylvania, is seeking applications from qualified individuals to fill the position of Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager is a senior management position, responsible for leading the maintenance department to success. This position oversees all aspects of maintaining the Authority’s 35-vehicle fleet, as well as ancillary equipment and facilities. The Broward County Transportation Department located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking to fill the position of Information Systems Manager. This is professional, technical and administrative work managing the Department’s Information Technology (IT) program. This is specialized administrative professional, technical and supervisory work managing the maintenance, operation, and other activities of Information Technology supporting the Department, development and implementation of Technology strategic plan. This position is responsible for supervising professional and technical staff providing direction on the integration of new technologies with existing application systems in support of operational schedules, vehicle maintenance, route scheduling, passenger safety, passenger revenue collection, public relations, budget preparation, and payroll. The Broward County Department of Transportation, Transit Division, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking to fill the position of Transit Manager-Paratransit. Under the general supervision of the Transit Division Director, this person will be responsible for the management of Broward County Transit’s (“BCT”) Paratransit Contracts as well as overseeing the ADA eligibility determination process for applicants’ ADA Certification. Incumbent will monitor the Transportation Disadvantaged Trip & Equipment Grant agreement in excess of $7,000,000; oversee the appeal processes due to sanctions of eligibility decisions; supervise and manage the activities of the ADA Paratransit services team. This position will: plan, manage and coordinate the activities of staff and contractor(s) engaged in the provision of ADA complementary paratransit operations and related services (e.g., travel training); be responsible for and provide direct management support regarding monitoring contract compliance, quality assurance, program safety, no-show administration, emergency operations, systems performance audits as performed by outside agencies; management reports as required; assist with budget preparation and performance monitoring for areas of responsibility; and manage a budget in excess of $20,000,000. Incumbent will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and all related USDOT, FDOT and FTA guidance, interpretations, and amendments, and confidentiality laws and guidelines; knowledge of principles and application of cognitive testing and visual testing requirements to use BCT fixed-route and paratransit services; be familiar with principles and methods of public transit, including fixed route bus and demand response service; have a working knowledge of dispatch, automatic vehicle locator (AVL) and mobile data terminal (MDT) functionalities for paratransit service; have a basic understanding of paratransit scheduling concepts and procedures, including automated routing, trip booking, and management reporting capabilities; and have excellent communications (written and oral) and analytical skills. Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. SUPERINTENDENT OF MAINTENANCE
CTTRANSIT is in the process of seeking a qualified person who will be responsible for the efficient operation of the maintenance and purchasing/ inventory control functions in our Stamford Connecticut division. Responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations required to store, service, and repair the vehicle fleet. This includes all duties necessary to administer servicing and cleaning programs, preventative maintenance programs, correction of mechanical defects, major repair of vehicles, rebuilding of components and inventory control.
