Sea-Land Chemical Co. Named Distributor for
Air Products' Functional Additives Product Line
Effective Nov. 1, 2016, Sea-Land Chemical Co. is the distributor for Air Products'
Functional Additives product line. Sea-Land, which distributes these products in
the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States, is replacing its current
channel-to-market in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska,
Montana, South Dakota and North Dakota.
"We are pleased to build upon our long and productive relationship with Air
Products," said Joe Clayton, Sea-Land's president. "As a key strategic business
partner, they have and continue to provide the support necessary for us to grow
and offer our customers outstanding products."

Westway Group Announces
Rebranding and Acquisition
Westway Group LLC announced on Oct. 31, 2016, that the company has changed its
name to Contanda LLC, effective immediately. G.R. (Jerry) Cardillo, president and
CEO of Contanda, said, "Building on the proud 60-year history of this company, we
are excited to continue our transformation with this rebranding. Moving forward,
the Contanda brand will provide the organization with a new and more accurate
identity, furthering our expanded growth strategy."
Contanda recently completed an important step in its transformation with the
relocation of its corporate headquarters from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Houston,
Texas, enabling the company to be geographically closer to its business and
customers.

LSC Enters Agreement for
Jamaican Manufacturing
Facility
Lubricating Specialties Co. Jamaica Ltd. (LSC
Jamaica) has entered into a long-term lease
agreement with Rubis Energy Jamaica Ltd. for
the lubricant manufacturing facility at Rubis'
Rockfort terminal facility.
LSC Jamaica is a subsidiary of Lubricating
Specialties Co. (LSC) based in California. LSC
invested in Jamaica almost two years ago
when it opened its lubricant manufacturing
facility in May Pen, Clarendon, becoming the
only lubricant manufacturer in Jamaica.
LSC President and CEO Sydney Thwaites
said, "LSC is excited to continue our
investment in Jamaica. Adding the Rockfort
facility allows us to better serve the needs
of the Jamaica market and our customers'
needs throughout the region."
Alain Carreau, managing director of Rubis
Energy Jamaica Ltd., commented, "The reopening of the lubricants plant at Rockfort
and the investments planned in the facility
will benefit Jamaica and the Caribbean region
as a whole and will result in a new source of
competitively priced lubricants in the region."

Just days after the rebranding announcement, Contanda announced the
acquisition of all assets and operations of Inbesa America Inc., a leading private
steel terminal in Houston. "We are excited to have acquired the assets and
operations of Inbesa, which perfectly complement Contanda's current offerings
and operating philosophy," Cardillo said. "As Contanda continues to bolster
its focus and service base to include a broad range of petrochemicals and
hydrocarbons, we will draw upon Inbesa's superior assets and capabilities for the
benefit of our expanding customer base."
