CHEVRON ORONITE ADVANCES
PLANS FOR CHINA FACILITY
Chevron Oronite continues to progress
plans for its new manufacturing facility in
Ningbo, China. The company has reached
another significant project milestone as it
proceeds with the front-end engineering
and design phase.
Existing plans call for the Ningbo manufacturing facility to open as a blending
and shipping operation followed by phased
expansion into component manufacturing as lubricant additive demand grows.
Oronite stated that the project timeline
currently calls for blending and shipping
activities to begin in 2020.

INGEVITY EXPANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH SEA-LAND CHEMICAL
Ingevity has expanded its distribution
relationship with Sea-Land Chemical Co.
Effective Jan. 1, Sea-Land Chemical Co.
has increased the geographical area it serves
for Ingevity's lubricants business to include
the entire United States.
"After three years of a successful partnership in various regions with Sea-Land
Chemical Co., we are broadening their
territory to better service our customers in
the lubricants market," said Shana McCabe,
Ingevity's global business manager, lubricants and metalworking fluid additives.

PILOT CHEMICAL NAMES NEW
EXECUTIVES
Pilot Chemical Co. announced that Chris
Leedy has been named vice president of
manufacturing and engineering. Leedy
replaces Ken Eckroth, who announced his
retirement last November.

STEVIE AWARD
Petro-Canada Lubricants, a Suncor business, has earned a Silver Stevie Award from
the 13th annual International Business
Awards (IBA) for its latest hydraulic fluid,
HYDREX XV. HYDREX XV was selected
for the honor based on its impressive field
test results.

Leedy now leads Pilot's manufacturing,
process and project engineering group
functions from Pilot Chemical's headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, and oversees five
plants across the U.S.
Pilot Chemical also announced Derek
Houck as chief financial officer. In his 11
years at Pilot Chemical, Houck served as
accounting manager, controller and director of finance and accounting.
