Advanced Chemical Concepts Inc. was incorporated in 2006 with a very simple premise
in mind; establish a company that provides
a value-added service that the chemical
industry wants and needs. ACC has strategic
stocking locations throughout the upper
Midwest and is continually expanding its
reach, both geographically and with product
offerings. Because ACC manufactures many
of its own products, it is able to customize its
surfactant packages and metalworking fluid
additives toward each customer's requirements and needs.

Brandywine Drumlabels provides hazard
communication labels and related software
to a wide array of clients in the chemical,
pharmaceutical and petrochemical marketplace. Brandywine maintains the patents
and intellectual property rights to many
chemical drum labeling products, including Poly-Twin® LX™, Poly-Twin® EP™,
Poly-Twin® VP™, Thermal-Twin® and
Twin-Tag® bulk labeling tags. By concentrating its focus on regulatory compliance
chemical product labeling, Brandywine has
been able to engineer unique label designs
and constructions that run effortlessly
through laser, inkjet and thermal printers.

With over 500 employees, Rudolph Foods
Co. is known for its snack foods and more
famously as the world's largest pork rind manufacturer. A byproduct of cooking those pork
rinds is their choice white grease. The grease
is sold into the rolling steel lubricant market
and the biodiesel and animal feed markets.

The Quiet Success of the Trump Administration: Regulatory Reform
(continued from page 3 )
a cost of $1.8 billion. Consumers picked up that heavy tab when their utility bills
soared. Despite the high price tag, the result was a barely detectable impact on
regional haze. This extreme approach to regulation resulted from a consent decree
between the EPA and environmental activists, who have no interest in cost-benefit
analysis considered under a traditional regulatory process.
Since 2009, "sue and settle" agreements between special interest groups and
the EPA resulted in 137 new Clean Air Act regulations, the Wall Street Journal
reported, costing billions of dollars and encompassing some of the costliest rules
ever written.
As EPA administrator, Pruitt has put an end to this. His directive declares that
the agency will no longer develop policies and regulation through settlements or
consent decrees. Rather, the agency will simply review a rule or provision, providing the public with both transparency and the opportunity to comment. In
addition, if litigation ends in settlement, plaintiffs will no longer be considered the
"prevailing party," enabling them to recoup millions in legal fees from the EPA at
the expense of taxpayers.
Though these reforms aren't making headlines in the mainstream news media,
they are significant achievements for the Trump administration. The steady, deliberate
progress of deregulation, along with more fair, transparent regulation, will certainly
ease the ballooning burden faced by businesses and consumers in recent years.
