Females are not as bright colored as males. Perch are the smaller cousins of the Walleye and Sauger. Travel in Schools, usually are similar in size (If you catch a small perch, most in that school will be small) Averages: Length- 5-12 inches Weight- 0.25 to 1 pound World Record Yellow Perch 4 pounds 3 ounces.
