Males weigh 150-300 pounds Females weigh 90-200 pounds Smallest Member of the Deer family Deer’s Diet: Deer eat tree leaves, grass, berries, acorns, herbs, twigs, corns, alfalfa, and fruits. Deer feed more at dawn and dusk. Whitetails are found in most of U.S., except for southwest, Alaska, and Hawaii. They are also found in Southern Canada.
