She is an advocate for elders and a volunteer at Menorah Park in Cleveland, one of the most innovative not-for-profit aging services providers in the country. In addition to working in Menorah Park’s gift shop, Helene writes letters and emails and visits her state and federal legislators to consistently call attention to the need for adequate funding and support for elders. Helene helps Menorah Park tell its story so it can expand its mission and share its expertise with others.
