Though the Fall Conference brings excellent speakers, it also brings fewer attendees, providing more time for face-to-face networking. Committee meetings help members and attendees build rapport, establish credibility, and keep up with trends. Committees are also open to nonmembers to allow knowledge of how and what work is accomplished and view future directions outside of one’s expertise areas. The VIP Networking Center provides an excellent way to meet new people, build business relationships, and explore new ideas. Small, tables create a relaxed atmosphere to conduct business and learn about people who are passionate about what they do and bring new business opportunities and growth. ARDA staff members engage conference attendees and assist with during this meeting were a testament to its great value! What value did you see in attending your ﬁrst ARDA Fall Conference? I found that the intimacy of the smallerscale conference enabled professional relationship-building and numerous opportunities to connect with both current and prospective clients in a more personal manner.
