Member Pages In the News Company News Accellos, Inc. announces the acquisition of vSync, Inc., based in Columbus, Ohio. vSync is the only provider of EDI and shipping compliance solutions built specifically to enhance Microsoft Dynamics GP and Microsoft Dynamics AX. This acquisition further expands Accellos’ reach into the Microsoft Dynamics channel with comprehensive and robust supply chain offerings. Central Parking System, Inc. has finalized an amendment to its debt agreement, effective Dec. 24, 2009. Among other things, the amendment modified the financial covenant beginning for the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2009, through 2012. The company has always been in compliance with its financial covenant and has enjoyed strong liquidity enabling the Company to retire more than 45 percent of the outstanding debt since the end of its fiscal year 2007. The Amendment reflects the proactive steps the Company is taking to ensure the financial flexibility to continue to invest in and grow its business. Federal Signal Corporation and Sirit Inc. have signed a definitive agreement pursuant to which Federal Signal will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Sirit for cash consideration. The transaction has a total equity value of approximately $48 million. The Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia has selected and successfully deployed Genetec’s Omnicast IP video surveillance and Synergis IP access control solution to protect the historic sporting venue and the 100,000 sports enthusiasts who visit the stadium on a regular basis. With a circumference of 1.2 km, the MCG is considered the eighth largest sports stadium in the world based on seating capacity and is included amongst the most famous international cricket venues. With further expansion on the horizon, Omnicast is currently managing about 400 Pelco cameras inside and outside the premises, in tandem with Synergis which controls over 70 back-of-the-house doors that are equipped with HID readers. LAZ Parking has acquired 99 parking operating contracts consisting of 30,527 parking spaces from InterPark, a Chicago-based parking company with regional operations in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. These 89 venues include managed, leased and owned facilities that are located in five key markets: Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Orlando and the Tampa region. On Track Innovations Ltd. has signed contracts relating to a national eID program with total consideration that exceeds $30 million. Revenues from this project in 2010 are expected to be over $20 million. People in the News The Consulting Engineers Group, Inc.® (CEG) announces that Keith Allen, AIA, has been named a vice president of CEG-IL. Allen has been with CEG since 1986 and is in the Mt. Prospect, Ill., office of CEG. The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program—a business intensive program that awards students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management—at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) announces its first graduate of the program, Anlee Orama. Orama graduated from the CIM program at NJIT with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering technology and a minor in business management. Central Parking Corporation has announced the retirement of Emanuel Eads from his position as president and chief executive officer. Eads joined Central Parking in 1974 and has served as president and chief executive officer since 2005. His retirement marks the conclusion of a transition plan Eads devised with Central Parking’s owners, Kohlberg & Company, Versa Capital and Lubert-Adler, at the time of their purchase of Central Parking in May 2007. Eric Spiegel has been appointed as CEO of the Siemens Corporation, the regional U.S. arm of the Siemens AG. Spiegel was a senior partner at Booz & Company since 1986. Spiegel brings more than 25 years of experience in key energy, manufacturing and utility industries. Central has also named James A. Marcum as president, chief executive officer and a member of the board. Marcum was most recently the vice chairman and chief executive officer of Circuit City Stores, Inc. In addition, Marcum has significant national chain experience through senior executive positions held with Ultimate Electronics, Inc., Hollywood Entertainment, Stage Stores, Inc. and Melville Corporation. Jeffrey Stello has been named president and CEO of MATCOR Inc. Stello assumes the responsibilities previously held by William Schutt, founder, who served as MATCOR’s President and CEO for nearly 35 years and will continue as chair. Stello is an accomplished leader, experienced in developing and executing business strategies for high growth technology companies and B2B service industries. During the past 20 years, he has held several executive level positions with operational, financial and general management responsibilities. Stello most recently served as managing director of Charlestown Capital Partners.
