PROFILES IN PARTICIPANT OUTCOMES F or our latest installment of our Profiles in Participant Outcomes series, we feature two case studies who have gone beyond to ensure their employees are not just prepared for retirement, but feel financially secured in their future. Our first case study spotlights IMT Insurance, who continues to enhance its benefit offerings and financial wellness program year-over-year for its employees, despite already achieving high remarks on its retirement plan, showing that it's possible for plans to continue evolving based on their employee needs. We then move on to a formerly neglected 401(k) plan from a Detroit-based nonprofit that specializes in treatment services for disenfranchised individuals. While the plan had several spoiled interactions with financial firms before, they began to build trust with an advisor who doesn't meet their employees with jargonized retirement language, but an empathetic attitude for their wellness. Know of a plan where you or an advisor you know has made a big difference in this way? We're always welcoming submissions to be considered, both online and in 401(k) Specialist magazine. To be considered, please email submissions to 401(k) Specialist Editor-in-Chief Brian Anderson at banderson@401kspecialist.com.
