crack a smile in the presence of The Crown
Media Communications & Publicity team. Like
the brand it represents, the team-led by Chief
Communications Officer Annie Howell-brings a little bit of sparkle and
kindness to the everyday. From seasonal press mailers to a one-of-akind
Sing-Along holiday press event, the Crown team is just extra. The
past year saw an eight-minute Jimmy Kimmel comedy sketch about
Hallmark holiday movies-pitched by Kimmel himself as well as key
recognition for Crown Media execs, including Wonya Lucas' inclusion in
The Hollywood Reporter's " Power 100 Women in Entertainment. " Not
only does the team conceptualize and execute meaningful communications strategies that drive tune-in, awareness and ratings successes for
Crown Media's three linear networks, SVOD and AVOD services, consumer product lines and publishing division, but it has the ear of Crown
executives, providing strategic counsel and serving as primary spokesperson for the company. The fruits of the team's labor include Hallmark
Channel's ranking as #1 across entertainment in cable in 4Q for Women 18+ for the eighth consecutive year. The multitude of media impressions
included coveted press with EW, " ET " and Deadline. The team likes to say they are successful because of their ability to wear many hats,
from firefighters (crisis managers), storytellers, coaches (lifting up talent and execs), gymnasts (always flexible) and guards-always keeping
the brand promise of Crown Media front and center. This group is the embodiment of brand ambassadors.

This crafty team develops and executes all
publicity strategy for Freeform original series,
such as " Single Drunk Female " and " Grownish. "
The team also has to find new ways to
promote annual stunts " 25 Days of Christmas " and " 31 Nights of
Halloween. " The latter included a spooky (and socially distanced)
event known as " Halloween Road, " an immersive experience in
L.A. that features the worlds of " Hocus Pocus, " " The Addams Family "
and more for fans and the press. This primo Media Relations
group deployed a winning strategy that helped make Freeform
the #1 primetime cable network in entertainment for 2021 among
adults 18-34 and women 18-34. What's more, they helped make
" Cruel Summer " the most-watched series in network history.

The ABC Entertainment
team doesn't do anything
small. To promote " Abbott
Elementary, " the group, led
by EVP Naomi Bulochnikov-Paul,
launched a
campaign featuring teacher-
focused screenings
and panels, school supply
donations and Scholastic-sponsored
book fairs for
Title 1 schools. For " blackish' "
seventh season, the
team secured award-winning
American author and
artist Kadir Nelson to paint
the key art, honoring the
series' cultural impact as it
nears its finale. Other stand-out moments included press mailers
hand delivered by singing telegrams for " American Idol's " 20th
season and an 85-foot " Big Sky " hot air balloon at the most-photographed
live event in the nation, the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
